Have we failed again?

Oppressed under the weight of our own “correctness”

Where there is this life in all its fullness

We hear about so much?

We remind ourselves –

We write and speak about this life and freedom

Perhaps like a mirage in the desert:

Tantalizingly close yet never realized

Looking so real yet without substance

Jesus calls us to remove our uniforms of rules and conformity

And to dive naked into the pool of liberty

Bask and splash, soak and drink

There's plenty there for all!
