Stages of Faith
From the Biblical writers urging their readers to advance from ‘milk' to ‘meat' to John Bunyan describing the ‘Pilgrim's Progress' to James Fowler putting forward the model of stages of faith, there has been a recognition that faith is not static but changes over a lifetime.
In this issue one person tells the story of the internal and external events and processes that led to a profound change in personal understanding and expression of faith. And Alan Jamieson gives an introductory summary of Fowler's Faith Stages and puts forward a new analogy for understanding different ways of being people of faith.
